Larry Wayne Lewis, age 79, of Parkers Crossroads, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Larry worked in the propane gas business for many years and was founder of Lewis Gas Company in Huntingdon, TN. Larry enjoyed helping those in need and will be remembered by many for those good deeds. Larry's family was very dear to him, especially his great grandson, Tallen. He will be greatly missed by them all.

Larry is survived by his wife of 61 years, Diane Hale Lewis; a daughter, Cindy Hardee (Tony); one grandson, Allen Hardee (Brittney); one great grandson, Tallen Hardee; a sister, Judy Taylor (Keith) of Murfreesboro; and two sisters in laws, Kat Lewis and Sarah Lewis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sammy and Letha Woods Lewis; two brothers, Bud Lewis and Mickey Lewis; and one sister, Jewell Lemonds.

Funeral services will be on Monday, November 8 at Reed's Chapel at 2PM with burial to follow in Jones Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Elliot, Mickey Atkinson, Keith Taylor, Gary Scott, Sam Estock, and Derrick Lewis and honorary pallbearers will be Andy Redus and Bob Wallace.
