William Dighton Mathews (Bill), 55, passed away peacefully with the comfort from his daughter, brother Kevin and sister in law Charlene, Sunday October 31st 2021, in Galveston Texas,

Bill was born April 24th, 1966 to Roger and Ruth Ann Mathews.

Bill had one child, a daughter that he called Baby Girl. Bill worked as a heavy equipment operator.

We ask that Bill be remembered as being a hard worker and for the funny guy that he was, always joking and poking in good fun. Bill had many friends, always the life of the party, laid back and lived a simple life. Bill had his struggles, but his heart was gold. He always was a helping hand to those in need. Bill spent his last few months enjoying quality time and a vacation with his brother Kevin and sister-in-law Charlene. He was comforted in his last moments by his cherished baby girl, Jenna.

Bill leaves behind; His parents, Daughter Jenna Marie McLean (Rodney); Two sweet grandchildren Ella (15) and Maisen (8); his Brother Kevin Mathews; Sister in law Charlene Mathews (Kevin); brother Jeffrey Mathews and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

In his honor a celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00am at the Crystal Beach Community Church, 1020 Diamond Rd. Crystal Beach, Tx.
