GOLDEN - Roy Lee Williamson, 91, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002, at Beverly Health Care. He was born July 16, 1911, in Itawamba County to Wiley D. Williamson and Lucinda Johnson. He was an employee of the Mississippi Highway Department and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Dell Williamson, in 1999.
Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Senter Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Hal Holt officiating. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Waddle of Dennis; a son, Edd Williamson of Fulton; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Shane Williamson, Mike Bounds, Chad Pruitt, Tommy Glen Williamson, Bobby Wood, Billy Wilson, Johnny Pruitt and Phillip Crane.
