Mrs. Melissa Ann Booth, 40, died Wednesday morning (December 12, 2007) at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah after an extended illness.

She was a native of Hahira, but she has lived most of her life in Waycross. She is preceded in death by a sister, Christy Bunn.

Survivors include her mother and step-father, Nora Jean Hightower & Clinton Hightower of Lake Park; her father, Scott Zirkle of Lakeland; two sons, John Lester Booth (wife Elizabeth) of Homerville, and David Walter Booth of Homerville; two sisters, Pamela Flanders (husband Lawton) of Lake Park, and Theresa Bullard (husband Terry) of Valdosta; two brothers, Charles Bunn (wife Stacy) of Thomaston, and Michael Bunn of Lake Park; two step-brothers, Clinton W. Hightower of Lake City, FL, and Jody Hightower of Lake Park; grandmother, Lorene Suggs of Lake Park; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday (December 14, 2007) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in New Prospect Cemetery in Manor. The family will receive friends 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
