Danny Martin Harvey, 66, of Troy Twp., died November 3, 2021, at his residence. He was born in Toledo on December 31, 1954, to Billy and Ruth (Ronau) Harvey, both of whom preceded him in death.

Danny started his employment with Schill Corp. and later with his business partner, John Miller, started H&M Machine & Tool, retiring in 2017 and was his only place of employment.

As a boy, he had a large paper route and was named Boys Club Boy of the Year in 1972. He was known as the Harvest Moon.

He attended St. James Catholic Grade School and graduated in 1972 from Macomber High School and obtained his journeyman card in pattern making.

He enjoyed bowling, hunting, and fishing. He belonged to Merickel-Farley Trout Club as well as the Southside Sportsman Club. He bought all of his grandchildren fishing poles by the age of 5. He fished in Alaska, hunted in South Dakota, Pennsylvania, and Texas. He was instrumental in coaching his children, his daughter in softball and basketball and his sons in baseball, football, and basketball. He loved the Detroit Tigers as well as the O.S.U. Buckeyes.

Surviving is his wife, Denise; children, Deanna (Matt) Gower, Stephen (Katie) Harvey, and Joseph (Andrea) Harvey; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emma, and Gabby Gower, Kendall & Dylan Harvey, Ella, Macy, & Jude Harvey; siblings, Sue (Paul) Szymanowski, Jeff (Patsy) Harvey, Genelle (Don) Hayden, Gary Harvey, and Billy Harvey Jr.; father-in-law, Louis Agoston, lifelong friends, Scott, Denny, & Bub.

Friends will be received in the Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Walbridge, Ohio 43465 (419-666-3121) from 2-8 P.M. on Friday, November 12, 2021, with the Funeral Mass on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 10 Am at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 300 Warner St. Walbridge, Ohio 43465, where the family will receive guests after 9 A.M. Interment will be private.
