Brad Peter Bonnesen, age 61, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic, Iowa.
Brad was born in Atlantic, Iowa on April 29, 1960, to Dallas Bonnesen and Dorothy (Holiday) Bonnesen. He attended high school in Atlantic and graduated from Atlantic High School. As a young adult, Brad found enjoyment in his cars and motorcycles. His record collection was a symbol of his passion for music, and he expressed himself creatively through playing the guitar. He enjoyed camping and exploring the outdoors.
Brad is survived by two children, Brandon Bonnesen and wife Sara of Audubon, IA, and Matthew Bonnesen and wife Shy of Anita, IA; grandchildren Kelsey Bonnesen and Natalie Bonnesen, both of Audubon, IA, Brynleigh Bonnesen and Jaycee Bonnesen, both of Anita, IA; brother Biff Bonnesen and wife Dana of Atlantic, IA; sisters Becky Myers and husband Bob of Omaha, NE, Beth Bonnesen of Council Bluffs, IA. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held for Brad on November 20, 2021 ,from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Americas Best Value Inn and Suites hotel located at 1902 E 7th St., Atlantic, IA.
