Dewey H. Logsdon, 86, of Anneta Route, Leitchfield, died December 18, 1984 at his residence. / Mr. Logsdon was born November 28, 1898 in Hart County, the son of David Foster Logsdon and Elizabeth Logsdon Logsdon. His wife, Sylvia Haycraft Logsdon, survives. / He was a retired farmer, and a member of the Antioch General Baptist Church. / Other survivors include: four sons, Rev. James Logsdon, and Clarence Logsdon, both of Leitchfield, Otto Logsdon, of Georgia, and Cletus Logsdon, of Clarkson, four daughters, Sallie Green, Mary Louise Lashley and Elsie Sapp, all of Leitchfield and Roberta Brooks, of Clarkson, one brother, Harlam Logsdon, of Elizabethtown, four sisters, Dolly Vincent and Bertha Meredith, both of Leitchfield, Mary Terry, of Summit and Laura Heaverin, of Muldraugh, Ky. 26 Grandchildren, 40 great grand children, three step-great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by seven children, Hubert Logsdon, Rev. Leo Logsdon, Herbert, Ollie, Temple, Alean and Lorean. / Funeral services were held Dec. 21, at the Rogers Funeral Home in Clarkson, Rev. Noah Raymer officiating, with burial in the Logsdon Family Cemetery.
