Frances Agnes Matula Boudreaux passed away peacefully at the age of 97, surrounded by her loving family in her home on Sunday, October 31, 2021.
Frances was born in Warren, RI, met a sailor at a USO dance, married him and relocated to New Orleans after WW2.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Boudreaux, Jr., her mother Annie Matula and her daughter Sybil Boudreaux.
She is mourned and will be dearly missed by her daughter Eileen Boudreaux, her son Kenneth Boudreaux, and her daughter-in-law Ana Boudreaux.
Her loss will be greatly felt by her four granddaughters: Cristin Bowman (Jackie Sheridan), Erin Coy Bowman, Michelle Calub (Ryan) and Colette Boudreaux. Frances also had three lovely great-grandchildren: Andrea, Luke and Joshua Calub.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.
