The Times, in common with the many friends and relatives of the deceased, regrets exceedingly the death of Mrs.Mattie Beard, which sad event occurred at the home in Wheatley, on Saturday, July 5,1902. The remains were interred in the Johnson Cemetery at Wheatley Sunday, Elder W.H.Paslay presiding. Mrs.Beard was a niece of Mrs. John R.Brown of this city.
