Kathy was born in Billings on Dec. 15, 1951, to Mick and Dolores Fraker. She was the second of four children.
She attended the tiny Pioneer grade school with her siblings by the family ranch in Clark, Wyo., and finished high school in Belfry, Mont. She later attended North West Community College in Powell, Wyo., where she received her associate's degree.
Kathy went on to work for Montana State University where she would stay for more than 30 years. MSU is where she met the love of her life, Duane, and they were married on July 12, 1987.
Kathy truly enjoyed life and was a wonderful mother, wife, grandma and friend. She loved to spend time with her husband and all her children. Her granddaughter, Mikalya, was the light of her life, and she instantly fell in love with her grandson, Braden.
She loved the life she built with Duane and they dreamed of growing old together, buying a house with a view of the valley, drinking wine on the deck, and most importantly, living off their children.
She took pride in all her children and talked of them often to anyone that would listen. They were her biggest success in life.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Steve Fraker; Granny and Gramp, and Grandma Margaret.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Duane Griffith; son, JD Nose of Texas, currently stationed in Iraq; daughters, Jenny (Chuck) Davison of Bozeman, Jimmi (Johnny) Silva of Cody, Wyo., Amy (Brian) Eldridge of Ohio, and Brandy (Mike) Griffith of Washington; grandchildren, Mikayla Davison and Braden Silva; along with her parents, Mick and Dolores Fraker of Billings; sister, Marilyn (Laurence) Siroky of Helena; and brother, Jim (Kathleen) Fraker of Washington; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, all of whom she loved deeply.
Interment to be in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
