The deceased was born on January 18, 1849 in Frankenheim, Sachsen, Weimar, Eisenach. She was united in marriage to Gustav Adolf Friederich in the year 1865. They migrated to what was at that time the colony of Fredericksburg in 1871.
Seven children was born unto them, two of whom died in youth. Two daughters, Mrs. Hy. Jung and Mrs. Louis Roeder, preceded their mother in death several years. The surviving children are: Hy. Friederich; Ernestine, Mrs. William Staats; and Maria, Mrs. Wm. Ebert. A sister Mrs. Hy Oestrich, also survives her. At the time of her death her husband was seriously ill."
