Ronald Hogan "Pop" age 73, of Sylvan Springs, Al., went home to Jesus on November 3, 2021. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Drummond Coal Company with 35 years of service. He was loved by his family and friends. We love you Pop! He will be greatly missed. He was an avid Alabama Fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents Pearl and Claude Hogan, son David Hogan, four sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his wife Patricia Anne Hogan; son Kenneth Hogan (Ginger); daughter Lorrie McWilliams (Randy); grandchildren Sonnie Rainey, Daniel Haynes, David Haynes (Kimberly), Lacie Sullivan, Madison Hogan, Kennedy Hogan, and Reagan Hogan; great grandchildren River Rainey and Olivia Haynes; brother Jimmy Hogan; numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be Friday, November 5, 2021, at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home from 12:30 PM until 1:15 PM. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Sylvan Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.
