Born in Nelson County on Feb. 28, 1864, she was the daughter of the late James B. Duncan and Martha Rittenhouse Duncan. She was a member of Adial Baptist Church.
She is survived by one step-daughter, Mrs. L. A. Cash of Madison Heights; two step-sons, Norman Sandidge of Madison Heights and Fred Sandidge of Richmond; one brother, R. L. Duncan of Greenfield; two sisters, Mrs. Etna Splaun of Greenfield and Mrs. Lula Felton of Faber; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Adial Baptist Church tomorrow at 2 p.m., and burial will be in the church cemetery. The body now rests at the Sheffield Funeral Home in Lovingston.
