Mrs. Betty Faye Ellis, age 79 of Yellow Creek Community, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Wildwood Health Care.

Mrs. Ellis is survived by her son, Jerry L. Ellis of Ball Ground; daughter and son-in-law, Donna & Eddie Guy of Ball Ground; brother and sister-in-law, James & Mattie Whitsell of Ball Ground; sisters, Shirley Frix of Dawsonville, Amma Dell Whitsell of Jasper, and Martha Sue Whitsell of Jasper; one grandson, Clayton Snyder; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Ellis; two brothers and five sisters.

Visitation is Friday, November 5, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and Saturday, November 6, 8:00 AM until prior to the funeral hour.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Mount Vernon Baptist Church, with Rev. Gary Keowen, Rev. Rodney Pilcher, and Rev. Chris White officiating.

Interment will be at the church cemetery following the funeral service.

Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to Mount Vernon Baptist Church.
