It is with great sadness that the family of Brian Reeves announces his sudden unexpected passing on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at the age of 42 years.

Brian was born on October 30, 1978, in Waycross, Georgia to his parents Bonnie Bew and Erwin Reeves. He was the second born in his family. He was raised surrounded by his grandparents, his older sister Erin, aunts, uncles, and cousins. As a child, he enjoyed boating, fishing, and swimming at Jacksonville Beach in Florida.
Brian was relocated to Boulder Colorado where he spent most of his childhood playing soccer, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and exploring our Rocky Mountains.
Brian received his early education from Boulder High School in 1998 and obtained his degree in Carpentry. While in school he joined the wrestling team and played soccer. Brian's spent most of his free time hanging out with his along Boulder creek and his favorite spot was Settlers Park in Boulder.
By profession, Brian was a faithful employee of Walmart Market at the Thornton location for over 8 years where he met his wife Damara Finger in 2015 along with many of his coworkers where he became good friends.
Brian and Damara became great fur parents to their dog's Chip, Batman, and Bella.
He received employee of the month in 2013 and 2017. Brian's co-workers described him as having a heart of gold, kind, dedicated, hard-working even when he complained about his work but also accomplished his work with enthusiasm and passion.
His friends and family described him as humorous, adventurous, loving, kind, always on point, and intelligent.
Brian had the love of collecting coins, star wars figure, comic books, sports cards, shot glasses from his travels, knives, hats, and Bronco gear.
His favorite sports teams were the New York Yankees and the Denver Broncos. Throughout Brian's short-lived life he had the love of travel and went to visit Florida on several occasions, Georgia, New York, and Germany as well as many tourist spots throughout Colorado along with many other states.
Brian spent most of his days working, spending time with his family especially his mother Bonnie, and sister Erin and his nieces Kendra, Areiana, and Arisa. In his free time, he would enjoy a round of disc golf with friends and family along with planning family trips to the lake and mountains to do camping, hiking, and enjoying his favorite beer IPA, Imperial Pale Ale.
Brian loved family and children so he gave much of his time and love to help raise his best friend Gene's two daughters along with his sister Erin's three daughters. We all remember how special holidays like Thanksgiving, Easter, and Christmas were spent with Brian with family and friends during large gatherings.
Brian will be missed dearly and his family would love your presence to celebrate his life.
But Jesus said, " Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. Matthew 19:14-15.
