Janet Ann (Bruers) Thomas, 83 years old, passed away on October 31, 2021 at Auburn Manor in Chaska. She was the wife of Ellis L. Thomas. They shared 54 years of marriage. Born at St. Francis Hospital in Shakopee, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Anthony & Bertha Bruers.

She attended and graduated from Guardian Angels, Chaska, class of 1956. She worked for American Airlines then North Central Airlines and then at MTS until she retired in 1995. She also worked as an Election Judge after she retired. She was a member at St. Hubert's Church in Chanhassen and member at Chanhassen American Legion.

She enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins and listening to them on the radio. She tried to never miss a game. Loved to play cards especially with her grandchildren. Janet enjoyed puzzles, making calendars for friends and family and she loved to read. She had a great sense of humor, but most of all she loved her family which gave her the most joy in life.

She is survived by her spouse, Ellis Thomas; children, Dave (Sue) Thomas, Colleen (Mitch) Gilomen and Kathleen (Eric) Brown; and her brother, Robert (Karen) Bruers. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christina, Nathan Thomas, Sean, Samantha Gilomen, Tyson and Holton Brown; and nieces, Vicky Hoeft and Maria Sanocki, plus many grand nephews and nieces.

She was predeased by her parents, Anthony & Bertha Bruers, sister and brother-in-law, Kay & Tom Klingelhutz, and nephew Rick Klingelhutz.

The funeral service will be held on November 6, 2021 at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 8201 Main St, Chanhassen with visitation at 10 AM and the funeral Mass at 11 AM. Huber Funeral & Cremation Services Excelsior Chapel 952-474-9595 huberfunerals.com
