Lifelong Altus resident, Kenneth Lynn Rogers, passed away on November 3, 2021 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Kenny was 65 years old at the time of his death.
Kenny was born in Altus, Ok, on December 15, 1955 to his parents, Leo Edward Rogers and Dortha Mae(McCaughan) Rogers. He grew up in Altus and married Susan (Moore) Underwood on May 21, 1982 and they shared 39 happy years together.
Kenny was a truck driver, an independent contractor for Beaver Express, and owner/operator of Rogers Tackle. In his spare time, he liked tinkering around with old cars and often did mechanic work and auto body work on the side. Kenny also enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and spending time with his family, especially, his grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his brothers: Bobby, Jimmy, and Billy; and one sister: Margie Hebrank.
He is survived by his wife Susan of their home in Altus; his son, Anthony Underwood and wife, Mattie of Altus; Two brothers: Eddie Rogers and wife Erma of Rogers, AR; Larry Rogers and wife, Connie of Springdale, AR; sisters: Marolyn Bush of Altus, Carolyn Brandt and husband, Chuck of Bremen, IN; Ronda Thomason of Lawton, Brenda Henkleman and husband, Bob of Pardeeville, WI; three grandchildren: Cynthia Lorene Robedeaux of Mustang, OK; Heather Marie Underwood of Mustang, OK; and Ashley Lynn Robedeaux of Altus; five great-grandchildren: Aria, Noah, Raylynn, Kai, and one on the way; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
