Our precious mother, Dorothy "Dottie" Richardson, left this world on Friday, October 1, 2021, to begin her life with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We can only imagine the great reunion she is a part of with her loved ones and friends there. Dottie lived a Christ-centered life, built on her faith and found joy, in every one of her 96 years on this earth. Almost half of her life was spent next to her companion and beloved husband in their home on Blackwater River. They loved their life on the water, fishing and feeding family and friends. Dottie spent the rest of her time serving her church as a member and the church pianist.
Her children, and especially her grandchildren, brought her great joy and she was proud of all of them. She owned many dogs throughout her life and she spoiled all of them.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Timmy Richardson; and her son, Fred Boyce.
Dottie Richardson is survived by her two daughters, Betty Hallo, of Pensacola, Florida, and Susan Swanson, of Georgetown, Texas; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren; as well as, so many others who were touched by her life and love.
The family will be having a small private memorial service, and Dottie will be laid to rest at Bagdad Cemetery, in Bagdad (Milton, Florida.)
Lewis Funeral Home of Milton has been entrusted with arrangements.
