Funeral services will be 10:30 AM on Monday November 8, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Grand Island. The Rev. Adam Snoberger will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Carol was born January 24, 1933, at Grand Island to Henry, Jr., and Frieda (Fuss) Liebsack. She grew up in Grand Island and received her education in the Grand Island Public Schools, graduating from Grand Island Senior High in 1950.
Carol married Neale Wells on September 23, 1951, at Pilgrim Congregational Church in Grand Island. They made their home in Grand Island.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Saddle Club and card clubs. She enjoyed camping, vacuuming and participating in several church groups.
She is survived by her husband, Neale Wells of Grand Island; son, Jay (Tami) Wells of Fort Calhoun, NE; daughter, Susan (Don) Vigil of Black Forest, CO; grandchildren, Misty Dent, Stephanie Stoner, Jessica (Ben) Worrell, Rianna Wells and Raegen Wells; and great grandchildren, Wills and Evie Worrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Lori Olesen; and two sisters, Norma Sperling and Arlene King.
