Phyllis Lynne Hinshaw Davis, 76 of Star City, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
She was born June 27, 1945 at the Old Davis Hospital in Pine Bluff to the late Milton and Sammie Jones Hinshaw.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Star City; was a 1963 graduate of Pine Bluff High School and went on to become the successful owner and operator of House of Beauty until retirement.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Mickey and Gary Hinshaw; grandson, Bryan Gasaway; and son-in-law, Gary Weast.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, John Davis of Star City; three children, Jo Lynne Frizzell (Brannon) Gasaway of Conway, Jeff (Staci) Frizzell of Star City, and Shannon Weast of Star City; 2 step-children, Dana (Chris) Paul of Centerton and Jon (Jenifer) Davis of Bella Vista; grandchildren, Jordan (Ashton) Frizzell, Jarrett (Rebecca) Frizzell, Brittney Weast, Caden Paul, Reese Paul, Brody Paul, Jaxson Davis and Kellen Davis; granddaughter-in-law, Ali Gasaway; great-grandchildren, Jestyn Frizzell, Evelyn Frizzell, Brighton Gasaway, and Aeson Frizzell; and her loving companions, yorkies, Bella and Maggie, and cockatiel, Spike.
Funeral services are 11:00AM Friday, November 5, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Star City with Bro. Kenny Martin officiating.
Visitation is 10:00-11:00AM Friday at the church.
Burial at Leek Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jerry Silvester, Jeff Ratterree, Jack Jackson, Johnny McGraw, Steve Frizzell and James West.
