Funeral services honoring the life of Gary Wayne White, Sr. will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 5, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Brother Jason Curry. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow the service at Comrade Cemetery in Simpson, Louisiana.
Gary Wayne White, Sr. was born April 29, 1952 in Alexandria, Louisiana to John Thomas White and Joyce Ray White and passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Gary retired from the International Paper Company. He loved being outdoors, especially to hunt and ride motorcycles and ATV's. He was a family man and loved taking care his daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry White; paternal grandparents, William Presley White and Nancy Janie Lee; and maternal grandparents, Andrew Isiah Ray and Bertie Lee.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Patricia White of Kilgore, TX; daughter, Brandy White of Bossier City, LA; son, Gary White, Jr. of Titana, Albania; and grandchildren, Patrick Kay and wife, Jasmin of Shreveport, LA, Ashley Kay and Ty White, both of Bossier City, LA , Isaac Nevill of Georgetown, TX and Gabrielle McFarland of Morgan City, LA; and great-grandchildren, Aiden Lafitte and Noah Kay.
Honoring Gary as pallbearers will be Ty White, Patrick Kay, Jason Curry, Brandon Curry, Junior Hernandez, Oscar Hernandez, and Gary White, Jr.
