Carol was born on November 9, 1937 in Summersville, KY the daughter of Hugh and Emma (Cummins) Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Kenneth Elmore.
Carol was a member of the Nazarene church. She worked for World Color Press and later at a bookstore as a sales clerk.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Summersville, KY with burial in the Wilson Cemetery in Summersville. Crouse Funeral Home in Salem is assisting the family with arrangements.
