Richard T. Brennan, 62, of Elm St. and formerly of Valley Stream, died Monday, November 1, 2021, in the comfort of his own home.

Born June 6, 1959, in East Meadow, NY, he was the son of the late Richard and Mary (Ryder) Brennan.

By trade, Rich was a Carpenter who worked in commercial construction. Recently Rich was employed in Customer Service for Home Depot in Valley Stream. He was a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus, where he served his community as Grand Knight of the St. Therese The Little Flower Council in Valley Stream. He was a communicant of Holy Name of Mary Church where he taught religious education.

Rich was an avid METS fan. He and his wife moved to Cobleskill in 2020.

On June 21, 2002, he married Jacqueline Cochran, who survives him along with his beloved daughters, Shauna Brennan and two stepdaughters, Lauren Roberts and Kristen Roberts as well as numerous siblings and extended family members.

A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Holy Name of Mary Church, 55 East Jamaica Ave., Valley Stream, NY 11580. Following the Mass, a gathering will be held at the Commuter's Club, 517 Ocean Ave., East Rockaway, NY 11518.
