Born in Trenton, NJ, Mr. Ford has been a long time resident of Lower Bucks County.
Until his retirement, he was employed with CV Hills Refrigeration Company for many years.
Mr. Ford was a proud US Army veteran. While in the Army he was a cook and he still enjoyed cooking for his family over the years.
He loved watching the Phillies and Eagles play and also loved watching old westerns.
Mr. Ford enjoyed going to Atlantic City and fishing. He also enjoyed going out to breakfast, however, his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren.
Beloved husband of 52 years to the late Helen (Olah), Mr. Ford is the devoted father of Charlene Amey (Scott), Dorothy Ford, and Charles Ford Jr., Thomas Groff and the late Michelle Jones.
Mr. Ford will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Michael Zettick, Keith Clever Jr., Zachary Charles Ford, Shawn Heisler, Keith Heisler, Shannon Jones; many great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, November 8, 2021, from 10:30 until 11:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 11:30 am. Interment will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park, Bensalem.
