Jimmy was employed with The Kellogg Company from 1970 until his retirement. After his marriage to Susan (Voshell) Gore in 1974, they together built their life in their home town. He enjoyed long walks in nature, late model cars and motorcycles, floating peacefully down the river and spending time with his family and friends. He attended Christ's Church of Battle Creek.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Suzi, sons, Jason Shive, Jacob (Jessica) Gore, and Jobey (Toni) Gore; daughter, Deidra (Troy) Pestun; 5 grandchildren; mother, Nina Gore; and sisters, Linda Hopkins, Marilyn (Ed) Banaszak and Jackie Johnson. He was preceded in death by his earthly father, George Gore.
