David Robert Angstrom
June 26th, 1941- October 24th, 2021

On October 24th, 2021, Dave Angstrom (80), passed away from heart failure while surrounded by family. He is survived by his High School sweetheart and beloved wife of 58 years, Patricia, and three sons: Wayne, Jeff, and Joel, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

David was born in Spokane in 1941 and raised in Wilbur, WA., where he graduated from High School and proudly attained the status of an Eagle Scout. He attended Washington State University graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering and remained a proud Cougar and Sigma Chi fraternity member and supporter throughout his lifetime.

Strong, Steady, and Smart are just a few words his loved ones would use to describe him. He was known for his wit and charm and was always a grounding factor to everyone who knew him. His reliability and work ethic allowed him to excel in his Medical Engineering Career with both General Electric and Sacred Heart hospital. He enjoyed deep and long-lasting friendships with many of his colleagues.

Dave was an avid reader, golfer, gardener, hunter, and fishermen among many others. He enjoyed shooting sports, sci-fi books and movies, and making things come to life with his hands. His craftsmanship and handiwork was taken advantage of and on display in Pat and Dave's beautiful home and was always eagerly loaned out to those who needed a helping hand. He loved watching sports and was a dedicated and long-suffering WSU football fan in addition to being a Seahawk's and Gonzaga Basketball fan.

Dave was always the smartest man in the room but didn't try to prove it. His Intelligence, steady presence, sense of humor, and strong work ethic was loved and respected by his family and friends and will be deeply missed by those who had the honor of knowing him.

Graveside services were held, Monday, November 2, 2021 at Wilbur Cemetery.
