Richard Leon Butler, age 71, died Tuesday, October 26, 2021. He was born December 11, 1949 in Cloud Chief, OK to James Clyde and Wanda (Couch) Butler. He started Butler Automotive then later formed a business with his brother Raymond called Butler Brother’s Sand and Gravel. At a later date he went back to work for himself and started Richard Butler Trucking and retired February 2021. He was a long-time member of the Capitol Hill Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Carolyn Lasater. Richard is survived by his wife Elaine, son; Randy and wife Amy, his daughter; Rashelle Brzowski and husband Rick, grandchildren; Jude, Zoey and Rory and three siblings; J.C. Butler, Dorothy Shipley and Raymond Butler. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Harold Hamm Diabetes Center Memorial Services will be 10:00am Saturday November 6, 2021, at Whispering Pines Church of Christ, Tuttle, Oklahoma.
