SPEAKMAN-WOOD Notice to all that loved her -Ottie Speakman-Wood died Tuesday, March 8, 1994, at the age of 84. She was born August 20, 1909 in a covered wagon alongside the road outside of Paden, OK. She married Joe Speakman in 1927. They came to California in 1943 and made their home in Petaluma. Her love of Christ and others was evident in every aspect of her life. Ottie resided in Petaluma until 1992, she then moved to Vancouver, Washington to live with her daughter. She is survived by two of her five children, Tom Speakman of Strawberry, Ariz., and Sharon Meritt of Vancouver, Wash. She is also survived by a brother, Don Stone of Carlyn, Nev. She had 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She went to her heavenly reward as lovingly and loved as she had always lived. A grave-side service will be held Monday, March 14th at 1:30 p.m., at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, on the acacia lawa Donations in her memory may be made to Alzheimers research or any church of your choice.
