David R. Ford, age 66 of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, October 30, 2021, with his beloved wife Sharon by his side.
David was born June 11, 1955, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Harry Russell and Anna Lee (Hill) Ford.
He attended Carrollton schools, graduating with the Class of 1973. David worked thirty years for Morton Building Company, Chillicothe, Missouri, until his retirement in 2004. On December 21, 2002, he married his one true love, Sharon Gramlich in Carrollton, Missouri. David loved fishing, hunting, and collecting arrowheads.
David is survived by his wife Sharon of the home; two daughters, Bailey Ford of Parsons, Kansas, and Whitney Ford of Carrollton, Missouri; three step-daughters, Katherine Little (Andrew) of Ashland, Missouri, Abbey Mayden of Carrollton, Missouri, and Hannah Harper (Jared) of Carrollton, Missouri; one step-son, Ben Mayden (Lindsey) of Carrollton, Missouri; one grandson; two granddaughters; two step-grandsons; and two step-granddaughters; one brother, Bruce Ford (Jane) of Blue Springs, Missouri; and several nieces; nephews; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russ and Anna Ford; his grandparents; and a brother, Bill Ford.
Graveside Services will be held at1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Evergreen Cemetery, DeWitt, Missouri.
