Peggy is retired following 35 years of service at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital where she was a secretary. She is a member of First Baptist Church of Clarksville. She enjoyed being with others and in her earlier years, she enjoyed bowling.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Elbert W. Brittain III of Clarksville and her son Luis A. Odio (Tara) of Clarksville. Also surviving are brothers Preston Giles (Emily) of Phoenix, AZ and James Giles (Chris) of Clarksville and her sister Patricia Giles of Clarksville. She is also blessed with grandchildren Hunter Steffan and Amber Joy as well as great grandchildren Alyssa Dinsmore, Cadence Henne, Addison Henne, Nicholas Joy Jr., and Leah Joy.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Fran Kafton and her great grandson Michael Joy.
A visitation will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M at Gateway Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. with one hour of visitation prior to service. Officiating will be Pastor Pat Van Dyke. Interment will follow immediately at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers for Peggy will be Luis Odio, Michael Kafton, Preston Giles Jr., Peter Walpole, Chris Hembree, and Adam Neely.
