Mr. Jeffrey Lee West, 55, of Dunn passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville.

Jeffrey was born March 16, 1966, son of Eloise Barbour West and the late Clarence Lee West. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Diane West.

Jeffrey was a graduate of Dunn High School and had been working for Carolina Backyard Living Center and Service Tech Air Conditioning both in Dunn. He had also worked in various food pantries and soup kitchens in the Benson and Dunn area. He took his friends and neighbors that couldn't drive to their doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, etc. He will be missed by his friends and the families he was helping.

Jeffrey was a member of Grace Chapel Church and was a strong believer in God. He always tried to help keep everyone positive when they were sick or down.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pat Williford officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Eloise Barbour West, uncle, James Ray West and wife Peggy of Lillington, aunt, Lois Barefoot of Dunn, several cousins and special friend, Cindy Prince.

The family will receive friends 12:30 – 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
