She was born in Salt Lake City on February 19th, 1935 to Dan and Bessie Hayes. Barbara is preceded in death by her first love, Conrad Morgan, and later by her true love, Ernest Bradley; parents, Dan and Bessie Hayes; brother and sister-in-law, Junior and Margie Hayes; great granddaughter, Oakley Bangerter; and many of her beloved fur babies.
Barbara is survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law, Dan and Connie Dever, Terry and Cherie Bangerter; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Karen Hayes; grandkids, Bryan and Michelle Boynton, Shane and Jenn Rico, Brad and Carrie Bangerter, Danny and Jamie Shields, Erik and Crystal Tapia; and several great grandchildren.
Early on in her life with her first husband, Conrad, she enjoyed weekend after weekend hunting and fishing with their daughters Connie and Cherie. Her young family also enjoyed raising foxes and selling night crawlers. After marrying Ernie she started to travel to exotic places like Mazatlán, Puerto Vallarta, Cancun and Lake Havasu to enjoy their early years together.
Later on in life she enjoyed spending time with her family at her cabin in Oakley, Utah, especially around the 4th of July so we could all attend the annual Oakley Rodeo. When the mountains became too cold, she and Ernie would pack up and take their fifth wheel down to southern Utah to enjoy the warm sun in Harrisburg just outside of St. George, UT.
She enjoyed so many other things in life including baking/cooking, yard work, watching the Jazz and Ute games and spending time with her furry companions, but especially looked forward to visits from her family. She was always eager to feed and entertain family around her favorite holidays and loved that everyone gathered at her little house. Barbara lived life to the fullest and it was evident in all that she did and the person she was. Her family was everything to her.
We'll miss her phones calls on each and every birthday to sing the happiest birthday song ever. We love and miss you so much! We hope you have the best reunion with all your loved ones you've been away from for so long.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday May 19th, 2021 at the Oakley Cemetery located at 5476 N 1000 W, Oakley, UT 84055.
