Mrs. Nancy Earlene Hembree Bennett age 80, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away, November 1, 2021. She was born September 11, 1941 in Winston, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. John Washington Hembree and the late Mrs. Amy Alma Kimball Hembree. In her spare time, she enjoyed her family, shopping, and church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Frankie Ralph Bennett; her brothers, Herman Hembree, Roy Hembree, Fred Hembree; and her sisters, Lois Johnson, Ruth Morris, Gladys Pate, and Mozelle Price.
Mrs. Bennett is survived by her daughters, Karen (Greg) Bennett Richardson of Buchanan, Georgia and Jan (David) Bennett Fiquette of Villa Rica, Georgia; sister, Wilma Strickland of the Fairplay, Georgia community; grandchildren, Gregory (Jo Ann) Richardson of Henderson, North Carolina, Kristin Wilson of Douglasville, Georgia, Kimberly (Bradley) Wheeler of Douglasville, Georgia, Kandis Wilson of Douglasville, Georgia, Kendall (Chelsea) Palmer of Dallas, Georgia, Tyler (Traci) Fiquette of Carrollton, Georgia, and Evan (Ashton) Fiquette of Bremen, Georgia and 8 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home and Crematory of Douglasville, Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted, Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglasville with Rev. Fred Blalock and Rev. Gregory Richardson officiating and live-streaming on the Jones-Wynn Funeral Home & Crematory Facebook page. Serving as pallbearers will be Kendall Palmer, Aiden Richardson, Talan Wilson, Phil Morris, Rodney Howard, Kim Palmer and Bradley Wheeler. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Douglasville, Georgia.
