After graduating nursing school she worked nights at Norwood Hospital, then at Charwell Nursing home for 33 years. She later worked and retired from Ellis Nursing home in 2013. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Howard A Moore of Bourne; children, Phillip Moore and his wife, Suzanne of Bourne, and Bryan Moore and his wife, Katie of Bourne; grandchildren, Ashley, Cashman and Lochlan Moore; and sister, Marcia Thomas.
