Bobby Eugene Pittman, 79, of Blackshear died Sunday evening (October 31, 2021) at his residence after an extended illness. Mr. Pittman was born in Waycross to the late James Kilabrough and Zelda Lorene O'Quinn Pittman and made southeast Georgia his home for most of his life. He was a dedicated truck driver that loved his job, while working he visited 48 out of the 50 states and eventually retired from Wooten Transportation. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Betty Denton.

Mr. Pittman is survived by his son, Greg Pittman wife Nancy of Blackshear; a grandson, John Titchen wife Amanda of Blackshear; two great-grandchildren, Payton Titchen, Danielle Titchen; six siblings, Frances Strickland husband Buddy of Waycross, Wanda Stapleton husband Junior of Millwood, James Pittman of Blackshear, Donnie Pittman of Waycross, Linda Davis husband Freddy of Blackshear, Karen Clark of Lawrenceville, Georgia; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held Saturday (November 6, 2021) at 11:00am in the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be receiving friends beginning at 10:00am at the funeral home.
