Dolores "Dee" Anderson, 89, of Pierre, passed away, Sunday, October 31, 2021. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at 10:00am, Friday, November 5, 2021 at Feigum Funeral Home with inurnment following at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD. An Order of the Eastern Star Memorial Service will be held the evening prior at 6:00pm, Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Feigum Funeral Home.

Dolores "Dee" J. Anderson was born May 13, 1932 in Fruitdale, SD to Howard "Skip" and Leah (Willman) Zink. Dee grew up in Lead, SD and graduated from Provo High School. She married Perry B. Anderson on March 3, 1951, celebrating their 70th anniversary earlier this year. The couple moved to Pierre where they have resided since 1959. Dee was the Past Worthy Matron of Capital City Chapter 39 Order of the Eastern Star and Past Worthy Grand Matron of South Dakota.
Dee is survived by her husband; son; daughter; and 4 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Bruce Anderson in 1952 and son Steven Anderson in 2012.
