Carl was the son of Joe and Clara Martin. He graduated from Lakeview High School in 1958 and retired from Borg Warner.
Carl enjoyed traveling with his parents and driving. He enjoyed gardening and fishing and would always stop for a rummage sale. Carl was kind to everyone he met, he had great faith in God.
Carl was proceeded in death by his parents and cousin Tom Gerk Sr.
He leaves behind 2 cousins Anna Blackwell and Bill Gerk.
