Ada T. Massengill, 78, of Autryville, passed away at Sampson Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 30, 2021.
Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00pm Tuesday, November 2 at Hood's Grove Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters Ruth Wrench (Billy) and Tammy Moore (Tony); grandchildren, Danielle Elandt (Josh) and Phillip Wrench (Brittaney); step-grandchildren, Lisa Bryant and Michael Moore; great-grandchildren, Jessi Gail Moore, Rowan Asher Elandt, and Landon Haney; brother, Bob Thornton; sisters, Gracie Bullock and Rachel Herring, and several nieces and nephews.
Ada was predeceased by her parents, Raynell and Lela Thornton, and her husband, J.E. Massengill.
Flowers are welcome; however, donations may be made to Hood's Grove Baptist Church, 677 Hood Grove Church Rd., Newton Grove, NC 28366.
