Jan Charlene Giles Cummings, 76, of Moultrie, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1-1:45 PM Thursday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Casketbearers will be Mike Giles, Ryan White, Jordan Tipton, Justin Bates and Jessie Beasley.
Born May 5, 1945, in Savannah Georgia, she was the daughter of the late John Franklin Giles and Cora Lee Croft Giles. Ms. Cummings retired as a Certified Nursing Assistant from Colquitt Regional Medical Center and was of the Methodist faith. She loved her family especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her animals. She had a kind heart and was always helping others. Ms. Cummings enjoyed watching soap operas and game shows.
Survivors include her children, Lynne Giles and husband Michael, Sharon Hunt, Melissa Tipton and fiancé Ryan White, Chris Bates, and Mike Harrod and wife Leticia; grandchildren, Leslie Dawn Hunt, Lauren Hunt, Layla Hunt, Cotton Hunt, Lily Hunt, Jordan Tipton, Calie Tipton, Kaitlyn Beasley and husband Jessie, Jonathan Harrod Jr., Amanda Harrod, Ashley Bates and Justin Bates; great-grandchildren, Easton Harlow, Madison Harlow, Constance Harlow, Liam Harlow and Ryder Sanders.
