Denise Y. Taylor, 61, of Elberfeld, Indiana passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at River Pointe Health Care in Evansville, Indiana. Denise was born in Huntingburg, Indiana to Jerry and Myra (Webb) Taylor on January 13, 1960.
Denise loved kids and did a lot of babysitting treating them like her own. Later, she started working at 231 Truck Stop where she was a prep cook. She became pretty well known with the locals who would ask if she made the soup today. She was a great cook and enjoyed spending time with her family and dog, Lola.
She is preceded in death by her father, grandparents, Raymond Taylor, Evelyn Taylor, Hurst Webb, and Elsie Webb; sister, Tara Taylor.
Denise is survived by her mother, Myra Taylor; sister, Jennifer Rogge; nephews, Nick Rogge (April), Tyler Rogge (Courney); great nieces and nephew, Peighton, Parker, and Taylor.
Services will be 1 P.M. on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, Indiana with Elder Bobby Chapman officiating. Burial will be at Garrison Chapel Cemetery.
