Jay S. Miller passed away after a long fight against heart failure early Thursday morning, October 28th, 2021 at Aultman Hospital.
Jay was born on August 28th, 1951, to Donald J and Dorothey Miller. Jay married Diane L Jochem on May 6th, 1978. Jay lived his life doing everything he loved, the majority of it was spent logging and timbering, or with the race horses. He served in the US Army during Vietnam. Jay was also a life time member as well as past commander of the Killbuck VFW Post 7079.
Jay is survived by a sister, Melody (Dan) Bernhard of Ketchum, ID; children, PJ (Jami) Bird of Killbuck, Jake Miller of Millersburg and Sunny (John) Zickefoose of Killbuck; grandchildren, Kayla, Harlie, Starr, Zenith, Nick, Abby and Shannon; great grandchildren, Sammy, Karter and Lilly.
He is preceded In death by his wife, and both parents.
Jay had requested no funeral services be held, just military rites. Military rites will be performed by Killbuck VFW Post 7079 at 2 pm Sunday, November 7th, 2021 at Killbuck Cemetery with a meal to follow at the VFW.
