Jim Fisher, age 70 of Tuttle, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021, at the OU Medical Center. James Edward Fisher was born September 28, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri to Leroy Edward Fisher and Joyce Evajean (McGough) Fisher. He was raised in the St. Louis area, graduating from Pattonville High School in Bridgeton in 1969. Just a few months later, on October 18, 1969, Jim married his best friend and life partner, his high school sweetheart, Elizabeth Mary Borowski. Jim worked a couple of jobs, before starting work for General Motors in St. Louis. He was transferred to the plant in Oklahoma City in 1979, and they made their home in Moore for a few years, before settling in Tuttle in 1985. Together they raised two daughters, Joyce and Stacey. When he wasn't working, Jim was probably watching professional wrestling, classic car shows or baseball. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals, and had a whole room dedicated to his collection of baseball memorabilia. Jim was a gifted musician, and played bass guitar for many years. He was a fun-loving husband and father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a true friend. He will be dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joyce E. Fisher, and Leroy and Mary Fisher.

Jim is survived by: his wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Joyce Johnson and husband Ron of Mobile, AL and Stacey Schaekel and husband Dennis of Blanchard, OK; brother, Dale Fisher and wife Ronae of St. Louis, MO; four grandchildren: Brandon Johnson, Haylee Cates, Katelyn Johnson and Anelie Kirk; nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 5, 2021, at Newcastle Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be 1:00 PM -7:00 PM, Thursday and the family will receive friends at 5:00 PM at Wilson-Little, Tri-City.
