Elizabeth Jane Drake, age 95, of Antigo, died Sunday August 7, 2022 at her home under Aspirus Comfort Care Hospice and her family.
Elizabeth was born February 26, 1927 in Kempster to the late George and Myra (Detwiler) Irish.
She was united in marriage to Richard Earl Drake on March 19, 1947 at the Congregational Church in Kempster. Richard preceded her in death on June 27, 2009.
Elizabeth was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, and fishing. She dearly loved her family and Jesus.
Survivors include 4 daughters; Sandra Stevens, Debra Shephard, Beth (Jim) Hall, Sherry (Tim) Kiper, sons; Jeff Drake and Ronald Drake all of Antigo, 26 grandchildren, and many great and great great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brothers; Robert and Norman Irish and a son-in-law, Chuck Stevens.
A visitation will be held on Friday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM at Kempster Cemetery. Reverend John Sass will officiate.
