Rodney L Cunningham, 53, went to be with his Lord on Monday, August 21, 2017 in Springfield, IL. He was born July 13, 1964 in Jacksonville, IL to Robert and Ruth Cunningham. He married Barbara Evemeyer Robbins in 2003. He was recently retired from Bernie and Betty's Pizza Restaurant. Preceding him in death were both of his parents, a sister Nancy and a twin brother Randy Cunningham. Rodney is survived by his loving wife Barb Cunningham; two sons, Eric and Ralph Nolting; eight grandkids, Kayleen, Naomi, Romel, Romen, Cheyenne, CJ, Journey and Chase; sisters Cinda (James) Todd of Plano, IL, Betty Simpson, Sheila Cunningham and Carla (Alonzo) Monigan of Springfield and Tammy Woodford; brother Tim (Barb) Cunningham of Springfield and many loving cousins. He had the most generous and loving heart, often giving more than he was able. Rod enjoyed his family, quiet time, NASCAR, fishing, true crime and his many beloved fur babies. Everyone who remembers him is asked to celebrate his life in their own way, raising a glass of their favorite drink in his memory. Visitation: 11am-1pm Monday August 28, 2017 at Staab Funeral Home Springfield. Funeral service: 1pm Monday August 28, 2017 at Staab Funeral Home Springfield with Pastor Mike Keppling officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery
