David was born in Everett, WA and grew up in Lake Stevens, WA, but spent much time in Hawaii. He died unexpectedly, due to on going health issues.
He was preceeded in death by Dennis and Claire Murphy, (parents). He is survived by his younger brother, Brian Murphy, his older sisters, Vicky Hornsby and Deanna Darling and older brother, Jack Darling.
David last worked around planes at the Paine Field Airport, which was always his dream job. His long time friend, Robert Tabac will take his remains back to the Island of Hawaii, which David considered home.
