Carl Archibald, 77, of Northport, Alabama passed away peacefully on October 29, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021 at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel with Pastor John Kearns and Pastor Ronnie Holmes officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Bruce Archibald, Sr. and Thelma McGraw Archibald; siblings, Freddy Archibald, Richard Archibald and Ramona Vanderkerkhove.

Carl was a retiree from the State of Alabama. He worked for the Alabama Department of Mental Health, the State of Alabama Department of Pardons and Parole and the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office. Carl never met a stranger, loved making people smile, and never missed an opportunity to say, "Roll Tide." He enjoyed his work with the event staff at The University of Alabama for athletic events and could often be heard sharing his latest fishing tales. Carl was also a proud veteran and served honorably in the United States Navy and retired from the Naval Reserves. Carl's love for his family and friends was tremendous, and his grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was an incredible husband and father and an even better "Peepaw." Carl was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and shared his faith daily. He was a member of Christ Harbor Church.
