Interment: Johnston Piney Grove Church Cemetery, Clayton, NC.

Survivors: Son, Dwight Wilkins (Carolyn) of Clayton, NC; Sister, Lizzie Ruth Alford of Philadelphia, PA; Brothers, Curtis Gordon of Corona, CA and Joseph Gordon of Raleigh, NC; 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
