Mary L. Weiler, 91, formerly of Falconer passed away Saturday (October 30,2021) in the Lutheran Home.

She was born August 12, 1930 in Clarence, NY, the daughter of the late John D. and Elvira Cummings Weiler.

Mary was a graduate of Clarence High School and Fredonia State College with a Master's Degree in Education.

She was employed by Falconer Central School from September 1953 to June 1988 as a music teacher. Besides teaching at Falconer; Mary was an assistant instructor for the Falconer Marching Band, volunteered her sewing skills for the annual school musical and enjoyed traveling on trips with the school chorus. Mary also volunteered her time at the Falconer Central School concession stand which was dedicated in 2011 as the, "Mary Weiler Concession Stand." She will be remembered for her famous popcorn and comradery amongst coaches, athletes, fans and students.

Mary was the first female member of Falconer Kiwanis Club and served all offices of the club.

Mary was the dear sister of the late Robert O. (late Marie) and the late Richard J. (late Patricia). She is survived by, and is the beloved aunt of: Deborah McGinn-Tytler, Robert A. (Flora), and MaryJane Soren as well as Joanne Weiler (Jim) Jochum and the late Richard F. Dearest great aunt of Anamarie McGinn, Christopher (Susan) Hehn, Erica (Lary) Hoffman, Jessica (Alex) Phengsiaroun, Allison (Chris) Smerka, and Lindsey (Jason) Doktor.

Friends will be received by the family from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday in the Falconer Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Pastor Laura Csellak, Chaplain of Lutheran Home will officiate.

Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery, Akron, NY.
