"Richard "Dick" Livingston

Salisbury — Richard "Dick" Livingston, 63, of Salisbury, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional after battling COVID-19.

Dick was born on November 13, 1957 to the late Robert and June Livingston and grew up in Salisbury and created a memorable life there. He graduated from James M. Bennett High School in 1975. He raised two wonderful children, Thomas and Alicyn, and spent his time supporting their endeavors and creating joy for each of them. During his lifetime, Dicky enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends, playing golf, cheering on his favorite sports teams, and admiring his children succeeding in their various activities.

Dick will be remembered as a positive, upbeat, and generous man who loved his children with his whole heart. He was a friend to many, and his calming soul was a characteristic that we are all lucky to have experienced. Although his life was taken too soon, those who were touched by him understand just how fortunate they are to have experienced his love and bubbly spirit. His laugh will forever be in our hearts, and we can remember this when we need a reminder of his positivity.

Dick was an active member in the Special Olympics community, where he supported countless children in their mental and physical abilities through sports and teamwork. He was a very hard working man, who took pride in his position at Atlantic Tractor. After serving as a Salisbury Branch General Manager for five years, he was promoted to Corporate Safety Manager in 2018.

Mr. Livingston is survived by his brothers, Robert Livingston (Anna) and Mark Livingston (Lori); sisters, Nancy Livingston and Dottie Livingston; children, Thomas and Alicyn Livingston; stepchildren, Karli Gillespie and Kollin Boog; and many nieces and nephews, Rob, Ryan, Travis, Marshall, Kendall, Kirsten, Nicolet, Luke, Eli, and Addie; and many extended family. He also leaves behind many cherished friends who also considered him like family.

Funeral services will be private by the family. With regard to the numerous friends who have not been able to participate in Dick's farewell, the family plan to have a Celebration of Life at a later date for those whose lives were impacted by this special man.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Special Olympics Maryland - Lower Shore, 3701 Commerce Drive, #103, Baltimore, MD 21227.

Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, PA, 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, Maryland 21804. Please visit www.hollowayfh.com to express condolences to the family."
