Dennis grew up in Ammon, graduated from Bonneville High School and attended Brigham Young University. Then, at Clemson University, he earned his PhD in Bio Engineering. On August 25, 1970, he and Janice Lynn Boyer were married in Idaho Falls LDS Temple, and Dennis worked as an engineer. A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served a mission in Florida. He served faithfully in any calling he was given, and especially loved family history. He had a great mind and enjoyed anything involving engineering! He designed a water balloon launcher for grandson Sam, who has Cerebral Palsy. He was an inventor, held numerous patents, was the recipient of several Research and Development Awards and enjoyed listening to Jazz. His greatest joys were spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and taking great care of his raspberry patch. Survivors beside his loving wife included: their children Lisa (Matt) Romrell, David (Sheila) Bingham, Sharon (Ryan) Rowley of Kaysville, UT, and Karen (Travis) Green of Peoria, AZ; their 13 grandchildren; and his sister Keila (Dennis) Poulsen.
